Advent Week 1 - Hope in Christ's Birth
- This morning I pray that as we begin to reflect back on the birth of Christ we see that throughout history God reassured His children of the coming savior. For Christ was always plan number one for the salvation of the world, for Christ was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but was born in God’s perfect timing to provide the ransom of all humanity: past, present and future.
- As we understand these truths, it should causes us to:
- Cling to Christ for salvation.
- Trust in Christ to sustain our salvation.
- Praise God in thanksgiving.
- Tell the story of Christ’s birth, death, and resurrection.
